What happens to image quality?
Transparency in SVG will be flattened when saving JPG. JPG compatibility: The most widely accepted photo format on the web, in email, and on phones — virtually every device decodes JPEG Transparent areas are filled with your chosen background colour.

Does JPG support transparency?
JPG does not keep transparency — JPEG has no alpha channel. Transparent designs must be flattened onto a background color or converted to PNG/WebP/AVIF that support transparency.

Does SVG to JPG lose quality?
It can. JPG is typically lossy, so encoding may discard detail for smaller files. Use higher quality/bitrate settings when fidelity matters, and keep the SVG master.
Does converting SVG to JPG reduce quality?

Can you recover quality after converting?
