Format guide
What is RAR?
Roshal Archive (RAR) is a proprietary compressed archive format known for solid compression and multi-volume sets, created by Eugene Roshal / win.rar GmbH (1993). RAR often compresses better than ZIP on mixed documents, but creation typically needs WinRAR/compatible tools. ZIP remains the friendlier everyday share format.
